Solidarity with UBIS workers on strike in Italy
UNI Finance stands in solidarity with the UBIS trade unions in Italy who have declared a national all-day strike on 9 September 2016.
The UBIS workers in Italy will arrange a sit-in at the UniCredit headquarters in Milan in support of the strike, in order to protest against the company’s long term outsourcing projects. In particular, tomorrow’s strike concerns the decision to outsource credit card operations which was taken by the Board of Directors on August 3rd this year. On the same day, UBIS workers across Europe have organised flash mobs to take place in Germany, Romania and Austria. UNI Finance supports the UniCredit trade union alliance in its activities and sends its solidarity to the workers on strike.
