38th Global Agreement Signed with Telkom Indonesia

With the hard work of affiliates and UNI, UNI is pleased to announce the signing of our 38th UNI Global Agreement with Telkom Indonesia.
Telkom Indonesia is the largest provider of telecommunications services in Indonesia, with a number of subsidiaries. The company has a customer base of over 105 million subscribers. They are now serving 8.4 million fixed wireline telephone subscribers, 15.1 million fixed wireless telephone subscribers and 81.6 million mobile telephone subscribers. Telkom Indonesia is a semi-privatised, majority government owned multi-listed company.
The signing was held during the 7th International Labour and Employment Relations Association (ILERA) Asian Regional Congress, Bali, Indonesia. The congress was attended by around 300 participants from 26 countries.
The agreement was signed by Telkom Indonesia's Vice President of Industrial Relations, Mr. Wien Aswantoro, the UNI Apro Regional Secretary Mr. Christopher Ng, and the Vice-President of UNI Telecom and the President of UNI Apro Telecom, Mr. Tomoyasu Kato.
Also present at the signing ceremony was the Minister for Manpower and Transmigration, Republic of Indonesia, H.E. Mr. H.M. Muhaimin Iskandar.
