Together let’s push for the measures against poverty and climate change and in favour of decent jobs, healthcare and financial regulation the global leaders said they would implement. Company leaders have spoken of their commitment to global citizenship. Let’s make that concrete through the signature of global agreements with new multinational companies – and bring their number from the 65 at present to 100 by the time of next year’s Forum. On the 60th anniversary of the Human Rights Declaration, let’s work together with the Elders and the Global Campaign Against Poverty and get 45 million people to stand up for their rights on 17 October, global day against poverty.
