European legislation has enabled the negotiation of a large number of Europan works council (EWC) agreements. Currently, more than 60 agreements have been concluded in the finance sector.

UNI-Europa Finance activities are guided by a strategy on multinationals, EWCs (European Works Councils) and SEs (European Companies).

For Europe, the lead persons for the coordination group dedicated to Multinationals, EWCs and SEs are:

  • Edgardo Iozia, UNI-Europa Finance Vice-President – UIL-CA/Italy (lead responsibility for EWCs and SEs)
  • Rob MacGregor, UNI-Europa Finance Vice-President – Unite/UK (lead responsibility for multinationals)
