UNI Post & Logistics, is one of UNI Global Union’s sectors that specifically deals with the postal and logistics industry. With more than 2.5 million members worldwide the Post and Logistics Sector is one of UNI's biggest. In order to respond to the developments taking place in the post and logistics industry, the sector has developed a strategic plan for the next 3 years with the aim of expanding the sector, improving the effectiveness of UNI Post & Logistics Global Union and better serving the needs of our affiliates. The plan is based on the following seven goals:
In order to analyse the post and logistics industry trends, the sector monitors developments within political set-up such as the European Union but also international and multilateral organisation such as the UPU, the World Bank, or the World Trade Organisation, and in major postal and logistics companies.
